A visit to Phasels Wood allowed the Cubs to show their adventure and teamwork skills, with a day of activities. Crate stacking, High ropes, the 3G swing,  caving, and fire lighting, amounted to a busy day, and ticked off several pieces of Award work.

Volunteering at Rushmere Park

The Scouts and Cubs were armed with gloves, rakes and brushes, and set about helping tidy up Rushmere Park recently. Clearing chopped trees, sweeping the entrance, clearing paths and collecting litter provided a busy evening while we enjoyed the scenery of our local park.

The Cubs went exploring Leighton Buzzard to practice their photography skills. Armed with a set of challenges, they went hunting high and low for old things, new things, big things, little things, etc. Plus lots of posing and strange angles.
