Cub summer camp

Despite the heatwave threatening our plans, the Cubs went to The Quarries campsite for a day in July, where we learnt about tracking, square lashings (followed by a little pioneering), and cooled down with a water relay.

For the evening everyone had to build shelters in the woods (thank goodness it was dry), and we went on a walk along the canal. Sunday morning saw us in the caving system and playing with rockets.
